We the Sisters of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus are a Religious Congregation of
women whose dedication to the love and service of God and our fellow men and
women takes special inspiration from the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus. We promote
the glory of God by bearing witness to the love which Christ has shown by giving
us himself in the Eucharist.
Founded in Nigeria (Archdiocese of Lagos) in the year 1943 by American born Archbishop Leo Hale Taylor with the whole purpose of having educated African Sisters who will be of great missionary power. The congregation has grown to 298 members.
The sisters arrived in Halifax the 1st of November, 2000. The sisters are also involved with Outreach home visitations. Come and join us.
